“The Learning Community is such a happy, busy place. It is so exciting to observe children making meaning of their world through play and investigation. We create an environment in which children have the time and tools to create and document, make mistakes and take sensible risks. At The Learning Community, children are given the gift of confidence, self-expression, and the freedom to learn in a safe environment that fosters their individual curiosity. As director, I am fortunate to be in the company of committed and enthusiastic teachers. Our staff is dedicated to the life changing work they do. Teachers work side by side with our student investigators, helping them to make meaningful connections to the world around them. For our older students, our teachers help foster a love of learning by incorporating the project-approach to teaching.  Our teacher’s passion for their craft is the heart of our school and I’m honored to collaborate with them each day.
